SHARE YOUR VOICE, TELL YOUR STORY

SHARE YOUR VOICE, TELL YOUR STORY

Listen to short podcast interviews that spotlight Australian Storytellers members. Each month a different member will tell a short story which will then be followed by the host asking three questions to find out more about the guest teller’s style, storytelling interest, or particular skill.

The great thing about ‘Australian Storytellers’ is that we have members from different countries, cultures and lived experiences. We often enjoy a variety of styles and genres from our members who use storytelling in a number of different contexts.

In this episode, Christine Carlton interviews New Zealand member Caroline Welkin who loves to tell stories with a sense of humour and surprise, anecdotal stories, gothic stories, and occasionally a fairytale. Hear Caroline tell one of her stories and then listen to Christine and Caroline chat about why Caroline became a member of Australian Storytellers (NSW) and the discoveries she made about storytelling at the Sydney International Storytelling Conference.
